Dr. Nasha bin Rodziadi Khaw is a lecturer at the Centre for Global Archaeological Research, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Born on January 11, 1985, in Taiping, Perak, he completed his early education in local schools and pursued a degree in Pure Chemistry at USM, where he discovered his passion for archaeology. He earned a Master’s Degree in 2011, focusing on the historiography of Ancient Kedah. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. at the University of Peshawar, studying Sanskrit inscriptions and their cultural impacts in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Dr. Nasha has authored several books and research papers on the archaeology and history of Southeast Asia, particularly regarding the ancient city-states of the Thai-Malay Peninsula. His works address early Malay history, art, culture, and international relations. He also specializes in epigraphy and palaeography, having translated numerous inscriptions from various regions, enhancing the understanding of historical narratives in the region.
