Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.Si is an archaeological researcher with a focus on Balinese history and culture. She earned her Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Archaeology from Udayana University in 1998, continued her Master’s degree in Cultural Studies at the same university in 2007, and earned her Doctorate (S3) in Archaeology from the University of Indonesia in 2018. Dr. Puji Astiti is active in various archaeological and cultural research, especially in Bali and West Nusa Tenggara. Some of her important research includes studies on ancient settlements in Bali, the influence of Islam in Lombok, and the conservation of cultural environments such as Subak in Tampaksiring. In addition, she has published various scientific works covering topics ranging from inscriptions to the identification of sacred sites during the Ancient Balinese period. Her extensive work includes explorations of cultural interactions and the archaeological heritage of Bali, making her one of the leading experts in the field of archaeology and cultural history of Indonesia.
