Since 2023, the Borobudur Writers & Cultural Festival (BWCF) has adopted a “moving festival” concept, after being held for ten consecutive years in the Borobudur Temple area. The ”moving festival” concept aims to broaden its reach and extend its benefits by engaging a wider network of cultural communities and institutions, including those involved in religious and heritage tourism.
