
Muhammad Fadli Muslimin is a lecturer in Literature and Cultural Studies at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts and Culture (ISBI) Aceh. He holds a Master’s degree in Literature from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Indonesia. Since 2024, he has also served as a cultural expert at the Department of Education and Culture of West Aceh. His research focuses on literature and tradition. He holds certification as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Analyst from the Cultural Professional Certification Agency (LSP Kebudayaan) and has contributed to the academic study of Bloh Apui, which was designated as Indonesia’s Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) in 2025. He also helped draft the master plan for West Aceh traditional marriage customs and was part of the team formulating the Regent’s Regulation on the same topic. Fadli has presented his research at various seminars and conferences, delivered talks, and initiated numerous literary and cultural workshops and training programs. He has received several research grants, including the ISBI Aceh Internal Research Grant, the Beginner Lecturer Grant, and the Nusantara Arts Innovation Program Grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2025. In addition, he has initiated a range of cultural and literary activities, such as Duekpakat (Acehnese literary and cultural forum), short story writing competitions, Aceh literature and culture symposia, Napak Tilas literary and cultural journeys, as well as Acehnese and Gayo writing workshops and seminars from 2022 to 2024.
